1. Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to your access to and use of the My Beauty Salon website, client account, salon-management environment, booking features, and related communications.

By creating an account, making a booking, managing a salon, or otherwise using the platform, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. A separate written agreement with a salon or with the platform operator may add to these terms; where it conflicts with these terms, the specific written agreement takes precedence for that subject.

2. The My Beauty Salon service

My Beauty Salon is software that helps clients discover salons, view salon information, choose services and available times, manage appointments, and communicate about those appointments. Salons can use the platform to manage services, prices, schedules, employees, client relationships, appointments, reviews, and notifications.

My Beauty Salon is a technology platform and is not the provider of a beauty, wellness, or other salon service. The salon that publishes a service remains responsible for its description, price, availability, staff, preparation, performance, safety, cancellation and no-show rules, and any consumer obligations that apply to the service.

At the time these terms were last updated, My Beauty Salon does not process online payments. Any payment arrangement for an appointment is between the client and the salon unless the platform expressly states otherwise in the future.

3. Accounts and access

You must provide information that is accurate and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity performed through your account.

• Do not share a personal client account or use another person’s credentials.
• Salon owners and managers must only invite employees who are authorised to access the salon environment and are responsible for managing those permissions.
• You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, loss of credentials, or another security issue.
• We may require email verification and may suspend or restrict access where this is reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or protection of users and salons.

4. Bookings and salon services

You are responsible for checking the salon, service, employee, date, time, price, and other booking details before confirming an appointment. A booking is subject to the availability and conditions communicated by the relevant salon.

Requests to change or cancel an appointment must follow the salon’s stated conditions or be arranged directly with the salon. My Beauty Salon may provide tools to manage an appointment, but does not decide whether a salon accepts a cancellation, applies a no-show charge, or provides a refund.

Any dispute about the quality, safety, performance, price, or cancellation of a salon service should first be addressed with the salon that provides the service. We may help with platform-related questions but are not the service provider or an arbitrator of that dispute.

5. Reviews and user content

You may be able to submit reviews, ratings, images, profile information, or other content. You remain responsible for that content and must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it.

Content must be truthful, relevant, and respectful. Do not publish confidential information, health information, contact details of another person, unlawful material, or content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights.

You grant My Beauty Salon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, and format your content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the platform. You can ask us to remove content where you have a valid legal or platform-related reason to do so.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the platform only lawfully and in accordance with these terms. In particular, you must not:

• scrape, copy, harvest, or systematically reuse platform data without written permission;
• bypass access controls, probe or compromise security, or interfere with the availability of the platform;
• impersonate another person, send spam, distribute malware, or use the platform to deceive or harass others;
• upload content or data that you are not authorised to use, or enter unnecessary sensitive personal data;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform except where mandatory law permits it.

7. Integrations and communications

The platform may send transactional emails, appointment reminders, account messages, and browser push notifications that are needed for the features you use. You can manage available notification preferences, but some service and security messages cannot be disabled while your account or appointment remains active.

If you connect an integration such as Google Calendar, you authorise the relevant exchange of information needed to provide that integration. Third-party services remain subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and you can disconnect an integration through the available platform controls.

8. Intellectual property

The My Beauty Salon software, design, branding, documentation, and platform features are owned by or licensed to Outerweb BV and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the platform for its intended purpose.

You retain ownership of content and data that you submit, subject to the licence needed to operate the platform. You must not remove proprietary notices or present the My Beauty Salon platform, or its software, as your own product.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep My Beauty Salon secure and available, but no online service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at every moment. We may perform maintenance, respond to security incidents, or temporarily limit features to protect the platform and its users.

We may improve, remove, or change features and may update these terms when the platform, law, or our operations change. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes. Your continued use after a change takes effect means that you accept the updated terms, subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived.

10. Ending or restricting access

You can stop using the platform and request account deletion through the available account controls. Salon owners should first make sure that appointments, employee access, and client relationships are handled appropriately before closing a salon environment.

We may suspend or terminate access where you breach these terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay an agreed platform fee, or where continued access is no longer reasonably possible. Terms that by their nature should continue, including intellectual property, liability, privacy, and dispute provisions, remain effective after access ends.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Beauty Salon is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and we do not guarantee that every platform result, salon listing, availability indication, review, or user submission is complete, accurate, or suitable for your circumstances.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outerweb BV is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss caused by a salon’s service, conduct, content, availability, cancellation, or failure to perform. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or applicable consumer rights.

12. Applicable law and contact

Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules, these terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes should first be raised with us so that we can try to resolve them. Where court proceedings are necessary, the competent courts at the operator’s registered office have jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
